Likened to Mr Barrie's hero, this ageing rocker continues to keep going. Unfortunately, unlike Mr Barrie's evergreen fresh faced wonder-boy, the sands of time have clearly left their mark on the singer. Thanks to Breton Oxygen, Max Factor, Zimmer Mechanical, Botox and of course, Saga Tours, we are pleased to confirm that this endangered species is still treading the boards.

Ian Hunter - Guitars and Vocals
Is best known for building his own guitar from pieces of a one-hundred-year-old fireplace. He used this instrument for many early performances and recordings until forced to retire it after a particularly heavy fall of soot and most of the tiles falling off. As well as contributing songs and music for Rayne he has a solo project,' Tourettes. My Arse' which is scheduled to continue until his trigger-fingers are fixed. Prefers to let his guitar 'do the talkin' but this might change when his new dentures arrive.

Ricky Samson Guitars and Vocals
Heavily influenced by the Banana Splits and the Trumpton Fire Brigade Band I have been playing guitar for 25 years and still haven’t managed to learn the outro to Trumpton. I have always thought the Banana Splits were years ahead of their time combining a post punk new wave late 70s sound with the costumed Rock stage look of the early 80s. Indeed they may have invented both. As for the influence the Trumpton Fire Brigade Band had on a generation of aspiring musicians, its probably unquantifiable. Playing live almost daily at the Trumpton Band Stand at the peak of their career, their mastery of their instruments and quality of performance has probably never been replicated anywhere or by anyone. My endless quest to fuse the two styles together has provided years of frustration to myself and many people, family and band members included. However since Tam joined on drums I feel we are nearer attaining that elusive Trumpton Beat than we ever have been.

Chris Stenhouse - Bass Guitar and Vocals
Chris has moved from 12-string guitar to 6 strings and then improved so much he is now playing a 4 string bass. As the youngest member of the band, Chris performs extra duties such as repairing Stannah Stair Lifts and Zimmer Frames. So far, thanks to the sterling work of band members wives, it hasn’t been necessary for him to empty catheter bags. His work with the band has been hailed as a major step forward in Community Care dealing as he does with both the elderly and mentally impaired.
Often regarded as the driving force behind Rayne (or at least the one with the van) Chris’ influences include Mozart, Beethoven, Status Quo and The Teletubbies. He reckons that playing with Rayne is the closest he’s likely to get to his heroes as Status Quo and The Teletubbies bear a great resemblance to Ross and the ‘Boys’. As for Mozart and Beethoven, no one has been able to explain the concept of mortality to Chris.
Mark Anderson - Drummer
In the 20th Century around the late 70's Mark bumped into Chris (Rayne's Bass player) when they were asked to play in a high school musical (nothing like the one of today’s fame) the rest is history.
Playing in several bands since then (both original and cover bands) and depping for Rayne, Mark feels that meeting the guys was a bit like having a cup of tea with the moonies or some other sect where once you are in there is no turning back- Counselling is not an option!
The die was cast, depping for Rayne transformed into a more permanent role. THE NEW DRUMMER!!!! (His only anxiety is that he is able to retain his sanity for longer than his predecessors.)
Mark also plays for Hotel California (Tribute to the Eagles) and is involved in other drumming projects where time permits (local recording with various artists and education)
His Son, Ryan once answered the door to him and gave him the money for the milkman.
(Ryan is a budding drummer and no doubt one day will play in Rayne in the year 2020.)
Mark's drumming travels took him to Australia with Hotel California in Nov 2007 playing in the International Spiegel Tent and is looking forward to Rayne's gigs in August 2008 in Sweden.
